WHERE ARE YOU BASED?

We have a unit based in Haddenham, Aylesbury where we pack and make everything. We offer local collection and we post worldwide. If you'd like to collect your order, simply select the pick up option at checkout and we'll email you once it's ready for collection. 


WHERE CAN I READ OR LEAVE A REVIEW?

DO YOU WORK WITH INFLUENCERS?

In short, no. We like to work with our customers instead, they're our people who already love what we do and love to shout about us. So if you're interested in working with us in our affiliates scheme, you need to be an existing customer, share the same values as us and be able to put out good content.

We prefer genuine reviews from genuine people, not just because someone has a big following. So if you'd like to work with us and become a Brand Ambassador, feel free to reach out if you match the criteria above.


ARE YOUR SWEETS JUST FOR VEGANS?

Nope! I'm yet to find one non-vegan who doesn't like our sweets - most people say they actually prefer them. Don't take our word for it, try them yourself!

WHAT ARE MY SHIPPING OPTIONS?

We use Royal Mail for our shipping. Prices will vary dependant on weight and this will be added automatically at checkout. We offer various prices for shipping to suit our customers needs. They are Royal Mail untracked, Royal Mail Tracked 48 & Royal Mail Tracked 24.

If you need something urgently, please message us before placing your order and we’ll give you options and how quickly we can turn it around for you. For international orders, the couriers vary but we always choose a tracked service and you’ll be sent a tracking number. Please note that if you've paid for 1st class delivery, the lead times are still 3-5 working days to dispatch.


HOW LONG DOES SHIPPING TAKE?

Our sweets are personally hand packed by us so dispatch times can be 3-5 working days from ordering if placed before 12pm. We aim to process each order as soon as we can and you’ll receive a dispatch email within 24 hours of it being dispatched. We typically get orders out within 2 days of the order coming in, but this will depend on our cut off times and how busy we are. If you require something urgently, please email us and we’ll do our best to help. 1st class is a 24 hour service so typically arrives 1 working day after dispatch. 2nd class takes 2-3 working days. Please note the lead times are still 3-5 working days regardless of which shipping option you choose.


WHERE IS MY PARCEL?

If you've selected the untracked postage option please wait 14 working days from when you received your dispatch email to contact us about any missing parcels. We're unable to do anything until this time has passed. 

For the tracked option, please make sure you check the tracking number sent at dispatch to check the status. If it says delivery hasn’t been attempted yet, please wait 14 working days before contacting us about this. For missing or lost parcels, we will claim on your behalf via Royal Mail but it may be worth speaking to your local sorting office first. We'll either issue you with a refund or a replacement once the correct time has passed.


DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

Yes, we ship worldwide tracked and the cost of shipping to another country will calculate at checkout depending where and how heavy the parcel is. We use Royal Mail and DHL for International orders and time-frames will vary. We ask our international customers to allow at least 21 working days before contacting us about any delayed parcels especially during Covid-19 and BREXIT changes and please allow up to 1 month for items to be delivered.

Please be aware that you may have additional customs charges to pay when the parcel reaches you.


MY SHIPPING ADDRESS IS WRONG WHAT DO I DO?

If you notice you've put the wrong shipping address on, please notify us immediately so we can change it before processing your order.

We do not check addresses. Every order that comes in is automatically processed so if there is an error that isn't picked up by you, it may be sent and returned to us. We will send this back out however you'll have to pay the shipping costs again if it's a customer error. If you decide to ask for a refund, the original shipping cost will be deducted.

Please always check the address once your order has been placed.


I'VE ORDERED BUT HAVEN'T RECEIVED A CONFIRMATION EMAIL?

Every order that's placed will receive a confirmation email. If you've not had one, it will either be in your junk folder, or you may have provided an incorrect email address. If this is the case, please email us at hello@sweetyourself.co.uk with your name and the correct email and we'll resend this for you. 

ARE YOUR SWEETS GLUTEN FREE?

Some of our sweets are free-from gluten within their ingredients, however because we handle gluten in our facility there is always risk of cross-contamination. We have a low-gluten sweet box containing sweets with no gluten in the ingredients. You can check our ingredients list to see if there is gluten in each individual item (we highlight all allergens in bold capitals).

DISCLAIMER: We cannot guarantee that the factories the sweets are made in do not handle gluten ingredients and as we handle all sweets in the same facility, there is always a chance of cross-contamination. 

 

DO YOU CATER TO ALLERGIES?

We regularly handle the following allergens within our facility: Cereals (Gluten), Soya, Sulphites, Nuts, Peanuts so there will be a cross contamination risk for these allergens. Manufacturers also handle the following allergens on the same lines some of our products are made, so there's a risk of cross contamination on: milk, eggs, sesame, gluten, soya, sulphites, nuts, peanuts. If you have a severe allergy or if you’re concerned about your allergy, please contact us to let us know your concern. We often handle different allergens in our pick & mix area so there is a chance of cross-contamination so we don't recommend purchasing if you have a severe allergy.

ARE YOUR SWEETS NUT FREE?

Our sweets and fudge do not contain nuts within the ingredients however some are made in the same factories as nuts so there is a cross-contamination risk. You can see the ingredients list for full allergen information.

ARE YOU PLASTIC FREE?

We're not completely plastic free, we're working towards it though! However we're proud to say there's no single use plastic here. We aim to be as sustainable and eco-friendly as possible and limit the amount of plastic we use. Everything we send out to you is either recyclable, compostable, biodegradable and reusable. 

We also reuse packaging that's sent to us by our suppliers to avoid wastage. We never buy unsustainable packaging - ever. We also offer our glass eco-jar which can be reused over and over again. If you have any questions about anything we haven't covered, please reach out to us, we're always open to hearing new ideas and suggestions!


WHAT ARE YOUR SWEET BOXES MADE OF?

Our boxes are made from recycled cardboard and can be fully recycled. They're so well made that we encourage you to reuse them for storage.


WHAT ARE YOUR 800G POUCHES MADE OF?

Our pouches are and can be thrown in the rubbish bin and it will biodegrade on it's own. Don't put it in your compost because it won't be hot enough to make it decompose on it's own.


HOW DO YOU PRACTICE SUSTAINABILITY?

We all about making as little impact on the planet as we can, that's why we're always looking into how we can make things better. Not just in our packaging that we send out to you but our internal practices too. Within the food industry, there is so much single use waste. Gloves is a big factor, many are not even recyclable. We use gloves made from renewable sugarcane plant waste which can be recycled. We also keep hold of any 'floor sweets' for photography to avoid food waste and once food is at the end of its life, we home compost it.

DO YOU OFFER SUBSCRIPTIONS?

Yes. We offer a range of subscriptions.

Eco-Jar Subscriptions

There's a subscription for our Eco-Jars where you can have sweets sent monthly to top up your jar. 

You can choose a chosen by us option or choose your own. 

You can opt for a delivery every 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month or every 3 months. 

You can cancel your refill subscription at anytime.

Standard Subscriptions

You can choose either a weekly, fortnightly or monthly delivery. 

For weekly deliveries there is a minimum order amount of 5 orders & you'll receive 15% off each order. 

For fortnightly deliveries there is a minimum order amount of 3 orders & you'll receive 10% off each order. 

For monthly deliveries there is a minimum order amount of 2 orders & you'll receive 5% off each order.

You can't cancel until the minimum order amount has been achieved.

ARE YOUR BOXES GOOD TO BUY FOR GIFTS?

Yes! Definitely. Everyone loves pick & mix & we offer something for everyone in every price range. All our sweet boxes come beautifully packaged in our bespoke boxes. We also offer handwritten gift notes to accompany any gift. We don't include invoices either 😊


WHAT GIFTING OPTIONS DO YOU OFFER?

Most of our products are suitable for gifting as they're so well presented. We also offer physical greeting cards which you can add on at checkout with your message and we'll hand write it for you. We never include the invoice in any order so you don't need to worry about prices. You can also buy a digital gift card which you can send straight to the recipient. 

DO YOU OFFER WHOLESALE FOR SHOPS AND ONLINE STORES?

HOW CAN I PAY?

We accept all major credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) ApplePay, PayPal, Klarna & ClearPay where you can spread the cost of your purchase, interest free*

 

DO YOU ISSUE REFUNDS?

Yes, if you return your order to us unopened within 14 days, we’ll issue you a refund (postage will be at cost to you). If you wish to raise a refund request, please notify us at hello@sweetyourself.co.uk along with your order number and photos of the package.


WHAT IS KLARNA?

Klarna is a third party company which gives you flexibility when paying for your items. So you can buy now and pay later - interest free! Klarna should only be used if you know it can be paid back - never over stretch yourself.

Please note Sweet Yourself Vegan is not a lender and acts only as an introducer. The credit product is provided by Klarna Bank AB (publ). Credit is only available to permanent UK residents aged 18 and over, depending on their status. Terms and conditions apply. WHAT IS CLEARPAY

Clearpay allows you to shop for the things you love and pay over time. Split your purchase across 4 instalments, due every two weeks. All payments are interest-free and there are no additional costs, as long as you pay on time. So buying a £200 item will see you pay 4 x £50 every 2 weeks following your initial purchase payment. All the while the item is at home with you! 

Clearpay lends you a fixed amount of credit to allow you to pay for your purchase over 4 instalments, due every two weeks. To be eligible for credit from Clearpay, you must be a permanent UK resident (excl Channel Islands), aged 18+. Further eligibility criteria and T&Cs apply. Clearpay Finance Ltd.

Make sure you can make your repayments on time by each due date to avoid late fees. Not paying on time will lead to a late fee of £6, and, if your order is more than £24, a further late fee of £6 if it is still overdue after 7 days. If you fail to pay on time, your Clearpay debt may be passed to a debt collection agency and this may affect your ability to use Clearpay in future.

HOW LONG DO THE SWEETS KEEP FOR?

We recommend eating your sweets within 4 weeks of purchase for maximum freshness and taste but they keep for a long time and have a long shelf life of over 12 months. Our sweets are heat sealed to ensure they are kept as fresh as possible from packing to arriving with you. By keeping them in an air tight container or our eco-jars, they'll be fresh and won't go hard or stale.

Branded sweets from other companies will all have their own expiry dates on. We guarantee they'll be demolished the second you open them anyway!

The only thing we sell that doesn't have a long shelf life is the Slab Fudge we sell, this only lasts 1-3 weeks so be sure to eat it sooner rather than later. We buy these in in small batches to ensure maximum freshness.


WHAT IS AN ECO-JAR?

Our eco-jars are sealed glass jars with vinyl on which enables you to have a zero waste sweet delivery. 

Once you have an eco-jar, you will have exclusive access to our refill section on the website where you can order refills at a reduced price that will fill your jar. It will come in biodegradable clear bags to reduce waste. They're a better option for the planet and your purse! They also make amazing gifts!


I HAVE AN ECO JAR BUT I CAN'T FIND WHERE TO PURCHASE THE REFILL PACKS?

We've added a private section to the website where only Eco-Jar customers can access. You will need to have an account with us with the email you used to purchase your eco-jar originally. If you already have an account with us, you should then automatically have access. If not, please sign up.
